Description
1025hp 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 in TorRed with 8 miles for sale! This Demon 170 is #604 of 3,300 examples produced for the 2023 production year, and this particular spec is 1 of only 269 finished in TorRed. It’s also the 7th and final Dodge “Last Call” special-edition model, commemorating the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger which came to an end in their HEMI engine-powered forms at the end of 2023. Beneath the hood is a 6.2L HEMI V8 that’s fed by a 3.0L IHI twin-screw supercharger (modified from the Direct Connection Hellephant C170 crate engine supercharger), and mated to an 8HP90 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine received modified machining for head studs/main bearing cap bolts, higher strength rods, copper-lead main/rod bearing materials, upgraded head/main cap fasteners, nitride-coated intake valves, upgraded valve guides/seat materials, high-flow fuel injectors, and more. The supercharger system comes equipped with a larger snout, 105mm throttle body, and 3.02” pulley, resulting in a 40% increase in boost pressure when compared to the Hellcat Redeye. The car achieves full horsepower output through high ethanol fuel blends, horsepower levels are determined by sensing the percentage of ethanol fuel content. More specifically, this factory setup generates 1025hp (at 6,500rpm)/945 Ib-ft of torque (at 4,200rpm) on E85, and it can even run on E10 fuel with an output of 900hp/810 Ib-ft of torque. The Demon 170 is also the very first production vehicle to complete the 1/4-mile in under 9 seconds, with a National Hot Rod Association (NHRA)-certified time of exactly 8.91 seconds at 151.17mph. Reaching 60mph in a blazing 1.66 seconds, and yielding the highest G-force acceleration of any production car at 2.004 gs. Clean title!
