Description

2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra in Silver with 48,000 (Chassis) miles for sale! This Cobra packs a fully built 4.6 that’s paired with a Forced Inductions 76/87 turbo, and mated to a recently rebuilt Lentech 4R70 transmission. The fully built 4.6 utilizes a Teskid block as its base, fitted with Manley rods, Diamond pistons, Kellog crankshaft, ‘98 Cobra camshafts/intake manifold, and DC casting C heads with 1mm oversized valves. This setup makes use of a custom turbo kit that mainly consists of On3 Performance kit parts along with a manual boost controller. The fuel system was upgraded as well with the installation of dual Walbro 450 pumps, Division X fuel hat, Fore fuel rails, Aeromotive FPR, and a set of Bosch 105Ib injectors. The drivetrain was beefed up as well with the aforementioned rebuilt 4R70 transmission with a transbrake and Circle D 3600 converter, followed by a solid axle 8.8, and 3.55 gears. Both the engine and transmission were professionally built by various professional shops in IA, and tuning was handled via HPTuners by Jon Lund (tuned on strictly E85). This turbo Cobra dialed up 800whp on a previous smaller turbo, it’s now street tuned on a new larger turbo. As for track times, it previously ran a 6.2 @ 114mph in the 1/8-mile. The car is not perfect, but it’s in very good condition, and yes, it’s a real Cobra. The stock boost gauge stopped working, the owner believes it needed an aftermarket one anyway, the car could also use an alignment. None of the stock parts are available. Only 5K miles on the setup! Clean title!
