Description
600hp 1999 Chevrolet Corvette in Navy Blue with 1,700 miles on full mechanical rebuild and 96,200 (Chassis) miles for sale! This is a PURPOSE built road course/autocross car. The owner purchased the vehicle back in 2000, since then, the car has received a plethora of upgrades including a rebuilt engine/entire drivetrain/full suspension. The heart of this C5 consists of a Kurt Urban built 403 stroker (build sheet available - revs very quickly to 7K) that’s mated to a freshly rebuilt T-56 6-speed manual transmission. The entire build was handled by the owner, and conservative tuning for road course was finalized by Jeff Creech at Carolina Auto Masters with an output of 520whp/470wtq on 93 octane. It’s currently setup for road course, however the owner hasn’t had the time to actually get it back on the track since the rebuild was completed, with the old set up, the car previously ran a 2:10 at VIR full course on street tires. The ABS module started throwing codes last year, so the owner replaced brake lines to install inline manual brake proportioning valve. The ABS module/wiring harness are still in place, just not connected, the car is more enjoyable without all the “nannies”. He also began fabricating metal flat pans to install below the car, these will be included as well as other spare parts and wheels/tires. This heavily modified C5 looks and sounds incredible with this setup, the entire build was heavily documented with a folder full of paperwork that started back when the owner originally purchased the car in 2000! Only 1,700 miles on the build! Clean title!
