This E63 AMG’s output was boosted with the installation of several upgrades, all of which, were installed by AMS Performance (1/3 shop cars). To achieve this horsepower rating, AMS paired the M157 with their Alpha 9 ball bearing turbos along with an AMS carbon fiber air intake. As for the drivetrain, the factory AMG SpeedShift MCT 7-speed sports transmission was fitted with an Alpha Performance clutch pack upgrade, followed by a Weistec upgraded transmission pan. Further equipped with an upgraded exhaust, AMS heat exchanger, Kincaid Killer Chiller, trunk mounted intercooler water tank, upgraded front mount oil cooler, and more. This setup yielded 740awhp on 91 octane pump gas, and over 800awhp on MS109 race gas after tuning was completed by AMS Performance. Regarding track times, E63 AMG previously ran a 10.40 @ 133mph in the 1-4/mile. There was 1 minor accident going 10mph, the front bumper/Renntech carbon fiber splitter had to be replaced, the owner has a picture of the accident.
