This Grand Sport packs a Katech built LS3 engine that was bored .05, and fitted with Diamond 2K pistons, Callies h-beam rods, GP custom grind camshaft, CT CNC ported heads, and all supporting valvetrain components. To complete the engine build, a freshly rebuilt Vortech TI supercharger was installed, which resulted in a final power output of over 800whp with a 3.4 pulley @ 13.5-14Ibs of boost once tuning was completed by Shane Carey. The fuel system features a DSX aux pump along with their flex fuel kit, and a set of Injector Dynamics 1300cc fuel injectors. As for the drivetrain, the Tremec TR-6060 6-speed manual transmission was paired with a Monster SC twin disc clutch, and the torque tube was rebuilt. Additional enhancements include a Mighty Mouse catch can, TiAL 50mm blow off valve, ATI lower damper, MGW short throw flat shifter, and dual Aeroforce gauge pods.
