Beneath the hood lies a built 6.8L 416CI, more specifically a 1000+whp capable American Heritage Performance forged LT4 short block with ARP hardware, and a custom Stage 3 New Era camshaft. The factory 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS supercharger was removed and replaced with a larger and more efficient Magnuson 2650 supercharger that utilizes a 90mm upper and 9.17 15% lower pulley. The fuel system consists of a DSX low side fuel system along with a set of 30% over fuel injectors. Additional upgrades include a Nick Williams 103mm throttle body, Roto-Fab 5” Big Gulp intake, 2” Speed Engineering headers, Alky Control methanol injection kit, and a 15” conversion. This clean ZL1 was built by Gus Performance, and tuning was handled by New Era Performance with an output of 880whp/840wtq. As for track times, the car previously ran a 6.0 @ 118mph in the 1/8-mile with full interior and no skinnies on the old setup (840whp). A full Blueprint sheet for the short block build will be included! The car does carry a salvage title.
