This extremely clean C7Z was modified by the folks over at JTM Motorsports, who installed a wide variety of upgrades, allowing the car to put down over 900whp. Beginning with a Magnuson 2650 supercharger, which was installed on the 6.2L LT4 along with an upgraded camshaft (228/242 .642/.630 118.3+4 32% Lobe). The Magnuson 2650 supercharger utilizes a 9.84 lower/80mm upper pulley combo along with a DSX 10-rib conversion, Nick Williams 103mm throttle body, and Cordes 5” intake. Fuel upgrades include a DSX low pressure fuel pump (LPFP), and a set of FIC 30% fuel injectors. Mated to the LT4 is a Tremec TR-6070 7-speed manual transmission that’s paired with a Monster SK triple disc clutch (500 miles). Additional upgrades include American Racing 2” headers, Cordes expansion tank, Alky Control methanol kit, MGW Shifter, Weld S77 wheels, Carlyle 15” rear conversion, and more. Tuning was completed by DDTech, the car laid down 930whp while spinning on a Mustang Dyno running E60 mix. In comparison, the owner’s friend has a Dyno Jet that reads 10-13% higher, the owner’s old ZR1 made 800ish on this dyno, and trapped 151mph in the 1/4-mile. Between work and the owner’s new little girl, he just doesn’t have time to enjoy it. This C7Z runs absolutely amazing with zero issues, it checks all the boxes! Only 2,500 miles on the build!
